ABOUT THE PROJECT

PROJECT CONTEXT

The project is geared to the guidelines of the revised Lisbon Strategy in 2005 which aimed at putting a greater focus on economic growth and employment within EU-member states. In this context a major objective targets the improvement of regional competitiveness having regard to the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in conjunction with an enhanced institutional cooperation.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

The primary objectives of the project are the Reduction of information deficits and obstacles to mobility for job applicants, apprentices and school leavers and Optimized cross-border utilisation of the regional labour force pool.
As specific objectives, the project aims to increase the cross-border transfer of knowledge and decrease the unemployment rates and increase of cross-border labour mobility
